Can I attend the school's activities? PDF Print E-mail

There are a number of activities for children and parents at Garden Cottage each term, they're great fun and it's lovely to get involved. You're welcome even if they're at a time you don't usually attend. Details of the activities for the term are included in the newsletter which is provided to each parent at the beginning of term. You will usually find this in your child's reading folder but also check the slot above your child's coat peg. Updates on events are posted on the notice board or door into the nursery closer to the event.

At garden Cottage Nursery we like to extend into the community to support charities, whether local or national, with the children themselves being involved.  we do this in different ways - for example dressing up, performing, parents evening summer fairs etc.  we also encourage children in the performing arts and every year we have Christmas Nativities and summer concerts.  This is especially good for the childrens confidence and self-esteem.

The GCN website is a useful source of information on the nursery and other general parenting information.
